Merry Christmas to you and yours dear #SugarFam.
Thank you for visiting the site even today.

There are various ways you and your partner can make your anniversary memorable, you just can't wake up and give each other a card that says happy anniversary then get into the shower and rush off to work. You have to put an effort into this really busy and fast-paced world. You should be able to reminisce on the things you did on your anniversary, you should have a smile on your face when you think back on it.

Do not make it a routine that has to be done and gotten over with till the next time. Here are ways to make your anniversary a memorable one:

  • Getaway:
You can decide to travel to another city just to have a romantic dinner, you can go camping, you can have a road trip (this works when you either own your company or have your anniversary on a weekend/ public holiday or you work in a company that actually gives anniversary leave)

  • Re-enact:
You can visit places you have been to before when you were still dating, you can decide to visit every restaurant, museum, hotels or even the church where you got married etc. After all the fun, you can wrap up the day by re-enacting your wedding night.

  • Plan ahead of time:
You can do things leading to the day of the anniversary; you can write your partner a letter, you can buy gifts and many more. This goes to show how thoughtful you are and how much celebrating each other means to you.

  • Try out new things:
This is an opportunity for you and your significant other to try things you have not tried before; it is the time for you to tick some things off your bucket list together. You can go skydiving, start a fitness plan together, learn how to surf, learn how to ride a bike, go kayaking, bake a cake together (especially when you suck at it), take that hike you have been talking about when you were still single before it is too late, buy some paints and make a masterpiece artwork together and hang it up in your living room and you can also enrol in a class and learn something you have no prior idea about.

  • Celebrate with family and friends:
This is not for all couples; you might like to have your anniversary consist of just you and your partner but if you and your partner are closely knitted and connected with your families, you can have them over for some of your anniversaries, after all, it is a celebration.
