Seychelles is an island country in Africa that is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The sands in the country are so white, you’d be almost too scared to step on them.

It is the perfect place to enjoy your newly wedded bliss. If you are planning to go to Seychelles for your honeymoon, then here are some things and places you should definitely give a try.

Visit Vallee de Mai in Praslin

Vallee de Mai is one of the few places in the world to have been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the few places in the island country to still have Seychelles’ original palm trees which can only be found in Seychelles. In fact, some people refer to it as ‘the Garden of Eden’

You can enjoy a nice afternoon sunbathing under the palm trees and enjoying some cold drinks.

Scuba Dive at Bay Ternay at Mahe

What is the point of vacationing in one of the world’s most beautiful beachside destinations if you don’t go snorkelling at least once? Bay Ternay at Mahe island is one of the most preferred spots for snorkelling, as it has a stunning arrangement of natural coral reefs which makes snorkelling extra fun and memorable.

Explore the Coconut Plantation

La Digue is one of the most popular places in all of Seychelles and it is home to L’Union Estate farm which has a rich amount of Seychellois history. Also, you get to see a sustainable coconut plantation and other fun and historical artefacts.

And what use is it visiting a coconut plantation if you don’t grab a pina colada?

Go island hopping

Seychelles is made up of 115 smaller and equally beautiful islands, which means that you have a large number of islands to pick from. You don’t have to limit yourself to one island alone.

You should explore the smaller islands, and you can catch a ferry or boat to shuttle you from one small island to another.

Go hiking

Mahe is the largest of Seychelles’ 115 islands, and it is one of the most beautiful. It boasts some beautiful hiking trails that look like something out of a fairytale. Hiking in Seychelles will make you feel like you're taking a walk through paradise.

You can have a nice and enjoyable time in Seychelles and make memories that you will look back on and smile.
